Advancement & Public Services Division Announcement

MACOMB, IL -- Western Illinois University Vice President for Advancement and Public Services Dan Hendricks has announced he will leave Western June 30 to pursue other professional opportunities. Hendricks has served as vice president for advancement and public services at Western since August 2005.
WIU President Al Goldfarb will oversee the development operations, Alumni Programs, University Relations and Visual Production Center, the Scholarship Office and University Marketing within the WIU Division of Advancement and Public Services. Vice President for Administrative Services Jackie Thompson will oversee the division's fiscal responsibilities, while the executive officer for the WIU Foundation Board will be elected at its July 8 meeting.
"Dr. Hendricks has directed Western's most successful fundraising years in the University's history, and he has successfully initiated Western's current comprehensive campaign," said WIU President Al Goldfarb. "I appreciate the work that he has done and wish him well."
A national search for the vice president position will begin in Fall 2009.
