Alert for WIU Students, Parents Traveling Hwy. 136; Construction at Ipava, Table Grove

MACOMB, IL - - Parents and students traveling on Hwy. 136 to move in to Western Illinois University residence halls Friday-Saturday, Aug. 21-22 and off-campus housing should be aware of a construction zone on the two-lane road.

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has posted work signs on Hwy. 136 east of Ipava through Table Grove that read, "Milling to begin on Aug. 20. Expect delays." The work zone is approximately 12 miles.
