Jackie Robinson Wiffleball Tournament

Call of Duty: Nerf Ops
Friday, April 25, 7:00–9:00 PM and Saturday, April 26, 3:30–9:00 PM

This event is FREE for WIU students! ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING THEIR OWN NERF GUN! Teams should have six to eight players. The Captains' Meeting is at 6:30 PM on Friday, April 25 before the first match at 7:00 PM. Download a Call of Duty: Nerf Ops Registration Form (pdf) or pick one up in the Campus Recreation Office. Registration is due Friday, April 18 at 4:30 PM in the Campus Recreation Office.
Rec Events for Charities
- Each year, graduate assistants, student employees, and staff members from Campus Recreation work with other groups on campus to co-sponsor philanthropic events to benefit specific charity organizations.
Western Illinois University is home to the ORIGINAL Big Pink Volleyball! We work with Thompson Hall to hold the biggest and the best Big Pink Volleyball Tournament in the state to educate Western students about breast cancer and send donations to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation and the McDonough District Hospital Mammogram Assistance Program. This year's program raised $10,456.74 to be split between the two charities. Overall the program has raised $103,620.86
- The eXtreme Dodgeball for Diabetes tournament is held in conjunction with National Residence Hall Honorary, and all proceeds are given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. All students are encouraged to participate.
