OR Virtually (Details coming soon) - Description: We are looking forward to seeing everyone in person or virtually this evening for our Digital Recreation Center & Gaming Lounge Alumni and Friends Social, Tour and Gaming Event at 715 W. Adams St. in Macomb, IL OR Virtually. Limited parking is available behind the building, or you may also park in the Sherman Circle across the street. Please join us anytime between 5 p.m. 8 p.m. If you are unable to make it right at 5 p.m., we’ll see you when you get there! Drinks and food will be provided to those coming in person. For our remote participants, we strongly encourage joining our Discord channel before the event. The Discord link is: https://discord.gg/QkdqrJgw and we will also be streaming live on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/WIUAlumni.

6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Socializing and tours
7 p.m. - 8 p.m. Valorant games and tours
Throughout the evening there will be tours of the Digital Recreation Center, as well as Nintendo games, featuring Mario Kart, Mario Party, and Super Smash Bros.
As mentioned above, for our remote participants, our Discord link is: https://discord.gg/QkdqrJgw and we will be using discord to coordinate Overwatch2 and Valorant within the "Alumni Plus" channel in the Western Electronic Gaming Association(WEGA) Discord.
If you're joining us in person, while it's not mandatory to join the Discord, we highly recommend it for an enriched experience and we will help you do so when you arrive. It's a golden opportunity to connect with current students who share a passion for games beyond our selected lineup. Remember, if you are joining us in person there will be free food, drinks and tours lined up for the evening.

You are invited to join the Western Illinois University Alumni Council virtually or at WIU's Digital Recreation Center & Gaming Lounge. Our in-person social will include tours of the Digital Rec Center followed by a short Q & A. Food and drinks will be provided. All alumni, friends and students are welcome. Not a gamer? Please feel free to join us for the social, tour and to watch the gaming. For those who want to participate, we will be playing Valorant, Overwatch 2 and Nintendo Switch's Mario Kart, Mario Party and Super Smash Bros during the event with prizes awarded to the winners.
