41st Annual Jazz Festival - Feb. 14-15 - featuring guest guitarist Dave Stryker

Description: The 41st annual WIU Jazz Festival will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 12 with the Jam Session at 7:00 p.m. - Cafe Aroma.

The Festival performance of the WIU Jazz Ensembles will be Friday February 14, 2014 at 7:30 in the COFAC Recital Hall with special guest guitarist Dave Stryker. The JSO will perform with Stryker on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 3:00pm in the COFAC Recital Hall.

Saturday Feb. 15 will be the WIU Jazz Festival featuring High School performances by area and regional high schools. The junior/senior high school bands competition takes place all day in the COFAC Recital Hall and the University Union. The Jazz Studio Orchestra (JSO) concert with our featured artist Dave Stryker will take place at approximately 3:00pm in the COFAC Recital Hall. The Dale Hopper Jazztet will perform in the Grand Ballroom of the University Union at the conclusion of the festival day.
