- Description: The College of Arts and Sciences presents the Annual John Hallwas Liberal Arts Lecture "The Value of a Liberal Arts Education in 2024" by Mr. Kirk Dillard.
Mr. Dillard serves as a partner in the international law firm of Locke Lord LLP. He also serves as the chairman of the Board of the Regional Transit Authority (RTA) in Chicago and oversees the nation's second-largest mass transit system. Dillard served for many years as a senator from Chicagoland's western suburbs in the Illinois State Senate as well as served with distinction as Chief of Staff to former Governor Jim Edgar.
