- Student Memorial Tree Planting Ceremony
- Time: 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM
- Location: Memorial Tree Grove (west of Sherman Hall)
- Description: Western Illinois University Inter-Hall Council (IHC) will host the annual Student Memorial Tree Planting Ceremony at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in the tree grove on the west side of Sherman Hall. The ceremony will be followed by a brief reception in the Corbin/Olson E-Classroom.
A tree is planted and dedicated in honor of the students who have been lost. In addition to the students' families, IHC is extending an invitation to students, faculty and staff to honor their loved ones.
This year, the ceremony will honor Hunter Mason who passed away May 31, 2022, Jorie Siuciak who passed away June 3, 2022, Lainie Mogensen who passed away October 17, 2022, and Courteney Taylor who passed away April 23, 2023. - Contact Information:
