- Description: Dr. Holland will discuss the ethical dimensions of literary realism as practiced for over a century, pointing to ways in which changes in our concepts of language and reality, along with new technology, have led to changes in form as fiction responds to cultural crises. Focusing on our AI era, she will explore how literature, literary studies, and humanities education can respond ethically to the cultural crises of a world rewritten by AI.
