Dean Smith-Skripps Announces Retirement

Dean Bonnie Smith-Skripps '73 MA '74 ED-SP '89, has announced her retirement as of May 1, 2009, after 35 years of service. She was named COEHS dean in June 2004 and has been responsible for the overall leadership and management of the college, including faculty recruitment, development and evaluation, as well as program development and review. She also has taken an active role in fundraising and developing several external partnerships. She serves as chair of the University Teacher Education Committee and oversees the accreditation process of Western's teacher education program. Click here to read more.

Gather your team for the RPTA Fall Big Bogey Classic

Play the only Pete Dye designed course in the Chicago area while supporting the RPTA scholarship fund! The Big Bogey Classic will be held at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club on September 25, 2008.

12:00 noon - Lunch
1:30 p.m. -  modified Shotgun start, 4 person scramble
Ruffled Feathers Golf Club
1 Pete Dye Drive
Lemont, IL

$125 (lunch, green fees, cart, social and helping the scholarship fund for the normal cost to play the course)
Young alumni who graduated in the last five years: $85
Young alumni who graduated between 6-10 years: $100
