First Fun Night at Vince Grady Field
On Saturday, August 23, from 7:30 until 11:00 p.m. at Vince Grady Field, the Office of Student Activities, along with Campus Recreation, University Housing and Dining Services, Student Development and Orientation, the Women’s Center, among other offices, will bring First Night Fun to campus. This annual free event kicks off the year with carnival activities, rides, food, live music, and giveaways.
First Fun Night to Showcase Parker House and Theory (PHT)
This enormously popular college band from east coasts’ Emerson College performed as the opening act for O.A.R. in the spring of 2008. With great musicianship and high energy, these six film and acting students are sure to rock the crowd with their engaging, fun musical style. Start the year off right with the University Union Board’s first offering of the year. You won’t be disappointed.
PHT hits the outdoor stage at 8 p.m. during First Night Fun at Vince Grady Field on Saturday, August 23.
