Reinhart Retirement Reception Scheduled
A retirement reception will be held for LEJA Professor Stephen Reinhart on Monday, Dec. 1 from 2-4 p.m. in Stipes 501.
Reinhart, who received his bachelor's degree in law enforcement from WIU in 1975, joined the WIU military science department in July 1988. He served as the military science department chair for four years (1993-97). He retired from active military duty June 30, 1997 after 22 years of service. Reinhart was appointed the law enforcement and justice administration department (now called School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration) chair in July 1997 and served as chair for nine years. Reinhart also served as acting chair of the educational administration and supervision (now called educational leadership) department and as assistant dean of the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) for five years.
