Centennial Honors College

Following a Busy Summer, a New School Year Approaches

Fall 2010 classes at Western Illinois University begin in less than a month, and the Centennial Honors College is excited about the new school year!

This summer, the Honors College enrolled students during Summer Orientation, Advisement, and Registration; presented a section of GH 299 during the four-week session in June; and made preparations for the upcoming academic year. (And the staff also took some vacation time!) On Tuesday, August 24 at 5:00 p.m., the college will hold its Fall Orientation Program where new and returning students can enjoy snacks, find out about the year, and participate in activities to learn about each other and the campus. 

As the 2010-2011 academic year unfolds, watch this column for ongoing events and activities of the Centennial Honors College!
