2010 Reasons to Love Purple and Gold

Homecoming 2010 logoHomecoming 2010 is a little more than three months away and this year, WIU is looking for you to help list 2010 Reasons to Love Purple and Gold.

This year, Western's Homecoming theme is 2010 Reasons to Love Purple and Gold. To help celebrate this annual event, the University Union Board (UUB) is looking to compile 2010 Reasons to Love Purple and Gold, to go along with the theme. We want to hear from WIU Alumni and Friends--your favorite WIU memories, the great people you met while at Western and fun times you had! Just fill in the blank, "I love purple and gold because _____________." Reasons could pertain to WIU, Macomb, the Leathernecks, Rocky...just about anything that has to do with WIU. Your statements will be collected and posted online. They will also be posted before many of the Homecoming 2010 events.

Submitting your favorite memory is easy. You can email your memories to miuub@wiu.edu or post them on the UUB's Facebook Page. Submissions will be posted at the editorial discretion of the UUB staff.
