Office of Study Abroad Awards Scholarships
The Office of Study Abroad has chosen its scholarship recipients for the summer and fall academic semesters. Two scholarships were awarded: the James F. and Syndy M. Conger Scholarship and the Beatrice Wehrly Study Abroad Scholarship.
Joshua Coyle received the $500 James F. and Syndy M. Conger Scholarship and Brittany Schau received the $3,000 Beatrice Wehrly Study Abroad Scholarship. Brittany will be studying in Australia this fall, while Joshua will be studying in Fiji. There were a total of 12 applications between the two scholarships.
Fulbright Student Program Interest Meeting to be Held
When: Tuesday, May 3 at 3:30 p.m.
Where: University Union Capitol Rooms with CODEC to Room 113 at the Quad Cities campus
The Fulbright program is the largest U.S. international exchange program offering opportunities for students, scholars and professionals to undertake graduate study, advanced research, university teaching and teaching in elementary and secondary schools worldwide. Fulbright grants are competitive, but the Office of Study Abroad is available to help students with the application process.
