Centennial Honors College

Jenna Verity Awarded Keith Webb Scholarship

The Centennial Honors College is pleased to announce that the 2010-2011 Keith Webb Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Jenna N. Verity.

Verity is a junior at WIU who is majoring in Political Science and following the Pre-Law Honors Minor. Jenna is originally from Schaumburg and graduated from Conant High School. Jenna is a member of the Women’s Track and Field Team at WIU and she throws the hammer, discus, and javelin. She is currently the president of the WIU chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, a pre-law fraternity. She is also a Senator-at-Large for the WIU Student Government Association. After she graduates from WIU, Jenna would like to attend Arizona State University Law School and eventually become a prosecutor.

The Keith Webb Scholarship was established in 1994 by WIU alumnus Dan Webb, to honor the memory of his father. It is awarded each year to an honors student following the Pre-Law Honors Minor who has demonstrated a strong potential for a career in law.
