International Bizaar Photo Contest

The Office of Study Abroad hosted its annual student photo contest during the International Bazaar March 5-6 in the University Union Grand Ballroom. Study abroad students who have returned were encouraged to submit their favorite photos taken while abroad. In addition, international students were encouraged to submit photos taken in the United States. The photos were then enlarged and mounted on foam board and displayed in the Center for International Studies booth at the Bazaar.

This year, 16 students submitted photos and visitors voted for their favorite. Prizes were given for the photos with the most votes. First place went to Nimitta Tamraker with “Balloon Rally”, second went to Charlie Jacobsma with “Crush” and Hassan A Abu Tak with “Water Drops” and third place went to Venessa Summers with “Venice”.
