CENTENNIAL HONORS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS
WIU Foundation/Honors Scholarship (competitive)
Award: $3000/year for up to four year
Criteria: Entering Freshman, all majors
ACT 30 and above and rank in upper 10% of high school graduating class
Satisfactory progress in the Centennial Honors College
Reside on honors floor for 2 years

WIU Foundation/Honors Transfer Scholarship (competitive)
Award: $2500 ($1500 first year and $1000 second year)
Criteria: 3.8 minimum cumulative GPA
60 semester hours from an accredited college or university, OR
A minimum of 25 semester hours and following an articulation agreement

Sherman Honors Freshman Scholarship (competitive)
Award: $1000/singleyear
Criteria: Entering Freshman, all majors
ACT 30 and above and rank in upper 25% of high school graduating class, OR
ACT 28-29 and above and rank in upper 15% of high school graduating class,
Accepted into the Centennial Honors College

Outstanding New Freshman Scholarship (competitive)
Award: $500/single year
Criteria: Entering Freshman, all majors
ACT 30 and above and rank in upper 25% of high school graduating class, OR
ACT 28-29 and above and rank in upper 15% of high school graduating class,
Accepted into the Centennial Honors College
Not available to students who recieve the Sherman Honors Freshman
Scholarship

Award: $600/single year
Criteria: Good standing in the Centennial Honors College
Appropriate class standing in the fall semester following application
Atleast one semester at WIU
Demonstrated commitment to graduating as an Honor Scholar

Keith Webb Memorial Scholarship (competitive)
Award: $500-$1000/single year, nonrenewable
Criteria: Pre-law minor
3.4 or higher cumulative GPA
Good judicial standing
Demonstrated strong potential for career in law

Paul M. Nollen Honors Biology Scholarship(competitive)
Award: $1000
Criteria: Good standing in the Centennial Honors College

Participating in a Study Abroad Program

Award: Not to exceed $200/once per academic year

Demonstrated progress toward the completion of honors requirements
Students must have a departmentally approved research project with
a faculty research advisor and faculty research committee where relevant

Martin Dupuis Leadership Award for Historically Under-Represented Communities
Award: $875-$1750
Criteria: Preference will be given to sophomore Honors Students returning to
WIU for the junior year
