Summer Vending Adjustments
With the close of the academic year and a significant decrease to the Macomb on-campus population, vending services will be reduced within several campus facilities (this includes snack, coffee, and carbonated beverage machines. Buildings that will remain serviced throughout the summer months are as follows:
- Physical Plant
- Morgan Hall
- OPS – Mowbray Hall
- University Union
- Sherman Hall
- Olson Hall (Corbin based on need)
- Library
- Campus Recreation Center
- Digital Rec
- Memorial Hall
- Western Hall (No Snack, Drink Only)
- Heating Plant
In addition to the expected decline in usage due to a lower amount of people on campus, additional reasons for this adjustment include:
- Conservation of electric utilities servicing the machines
- Reduction in expired/spoiled product and waste
- Quicker servicing and stocking of machines
We will continue to review usage on campus and make the necessary adjustments.
