Bachelor of Social Work

Social Work faculty receive Curriculum Development Institute (CDI) program grant. News release

 

The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree is earned through the Department of Social Work and prepares students for entry-level, professional generalist social work practice. Many students also go on to graduate school to earn a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. The Department of Social Work is part of the College of Education & Human Services.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Social Work is to provide a high quality social work educational experience that serves a diverse population and contributesto the enhancement of social service delivery systems in the west central Illinois region and throughout the state with a faculty dedicated to excellence in teaching, to scholarly and professional activities, and to social and economic justice for all persons.
