Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Social Work is to provide a high quality social work educational experience that serves a diverse population and contributes to the enhancement of social service delivery systems in the west central Illinois region and throughout the state with a faculty dedicated to excellence in teaching, to scholarly and professional activities, and to social and economic justice for all persons.
