Research Interests

Research: My research areas are, broadly, dynamical systems, control, optimization, and computational and data sciences. My specific interests are in hysteresis and biological applications.

Research with graduate students: I am interested in working with students who have a strong desire to pursue a Ph.D. in computational and applied mathematics after their M.S. degree at WIU.

Research with undergraduate students: I would guide students interested in modeling, scientific computing, machine learning, and data analysis problems arising from interdisciplinary areas such as engineering, physics, and biology.
