Education:

Kristy Keefe is currently a licensed psychologist in the states of Illinois (HSP), Kentucky (HSP), and Indiana. She obtained her B.S. from the University of Wisconsin and her M.A. and Psy.D. from the University of Indianapolis. Her training and expertise encompasses several years as a therapist at university counseling centers, including her APA accredited internship at Miami University and a post-doctoral residency at Purdue University.

Teaching:

Dr. Keefe teaches Cognitive Assessment, Career Assessment, Personality Assessment, Abnormal Psychology, and Careers in Psychology. She also supervises in the psychology clinic.

Research Interests:

College Student Mental Health: AD/HD, personality, and sexual assault. As a practitioner trained in working with college students, I have focused my research interests in college student mental health and treatment. Specifically, I am interested in treatment factors for college students who experience sexual assault and AD/HD.

Psychotherapy: Common factors, trainee competence, and psychotherapy outcomes; Working alliance, sharing case conceptualizations, and client outcomes. How does the level of competency by therapists impact the outcomes for the clients they treat?
