Grad Prep Day
Fall 2011 Western Illinois University graduates can get all of their graduation questions answered and tie up any loose ends at the annual Grad Prep Day.
The event, hosted by the WIU Alumni Association, will be held from 2-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 in the campus foyer at the WIU-Quad Cities 60th Street campus.
Students will have the chance to meet with campus representatives, as well as buy the required cap and gown, learn more about graduation pictures and purchase a WIU class ring. The WIU offices represented at Grad Prep Day include Financial Aid, Visual Production Center, Registrars Office, Billing and Receivables, Career Services, the Union Bookstore and the Alumni Association.
Alumni Association staff will be on hand to explain all of the benefits of being a non-dues paying member of the Alumni Association, and students will receive a free gift just for showing up.
