Personal Property Loss Policy

The University does not assume any responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to employees personal property.  If employees bring their personal property on University premises, even when used in connection with the employees' work, the employees are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft.  It is the expectation that employees insure their personal property appropriately.  This policy does not affect use of personal vehicles (see University Travel Guide).

Definitions

Personal Property
Items owned by an employee including books, mobile telephones, or furniture. This list is not exhaustive.
