March is Women's History Month and in celebration two exhibits are being hosted in the University Libraries.

The Music Library (108 Sallee Hall) is hosting an exhibit entitled "Women in Music." The exhibit features women performers, women composers, and women in popular music generally, focusing on pianist Hélène Grimaud, composer Alma Mahler, and popular vocalist Diana Ross. Additionally, our skilled workers in the Music Library would be delighted to help you find recordings, scores, and criticism of these and other women musical artists.

For more information please contact Rod Sharpe, music librarian, at 309-298-1005 or RL-Sharpe@wiu.edu.

The Leslie F. Malpass Library first level is the site of an exhibit entitled "Women's Art: Women's Vision," the annual Women's Art Exhibit sponsored by the Women's Center here at Western. The exhibit was coordinated by WIU art major Jennifer Howard and features art by Mariah Bartz, Kari Busard, Jennifer Howard, Janice Rockwell, Jo Sanders, Margaret Sinex, and Brandi Woolam.

For more information about the art exhibit please contact the Women's Center at 309-298-2242 or WomensCenter@wiu.edu.
