LibQUAL Focus Groups

The University Libraries will be conducting focus groups to help validate the performance of the libraries. This is a follow up of the LibQUAL survey which was conducted in the fall of 2009. The University Libraries recognizes that each patron has different wants or needs for the libraries to fulfill. In an effort to collect that information in an organized fashion, the focus groups are broken down into four areas: Undergraduate Students (including transfer students), Faculty, Graduate Students, and Administration and Civil Service.

The focus groups will meet as follows:

Undergraduate and Transfer Students
February 23rd 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Algonquin Room, Union
Faculty
February 25th 3 to 4 p.m. Chicago Room, Union
Administration and Civil Service
March 3rd 10 to 11 a.m. Algonquin Room, Union
Graduate and International Students
March 5th 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Algonquin Room, Union

The goal of the focus groups is to provide the university libraries with feedback on services currently provided and what services patrons would like to see the libraries offer in the future. Focus group participants will be asked a series of questions facilitated by library faculty. The results of the focus group will be compiled to determine future service changes or additions.

Mark your calendars and plan to participate in determining future service changes or additions. No RSVP is required, just come and join in the discussion.
