MAJ Ernand Menard graduated from Baystate College in Boston, MA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant from Officer Candidate School as a Transportation Officer in 2012.

MAJ Menard initially served as the Company Commander for Headquarters, Headquarters Company of 719th Transportation Battalion in Brockton, MA. He was later assigned as the Platoon Leader and then Executive Officer for 824th Transportation Company in Morehead City, NC. MAJ Menard served as a Captain as an Observer Coach Trainer and Operations Officer for 3rd Battalion, 338th Regiment (Combat Sustainment Support) in Blacklick, OH, later serving as the Operations Officer to 718th Transportation Battalion (Motor Transport). MAJ Menard deployed to Kuwait with 336th Combat Sustainment Support as Chief of Operations in support of Operations Spartan Shield.

MAJ Menard is a graduate of Transportation Basic Leader’s Course, Logistics Captain’s Career Course, and is currently attending the Army Command and General Staff College. He attended and graduated Basic Combat Training, Theater Sustainment Course, Support Operations Course, Anti-Terrorism Officer’s Basic Course and the Army SHARP Academy.

His military awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal (4 OLC), Superior Unit Commendation, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M Device.

MAJ Menard is married to Nadly Menard and have three children together.
