WIU-Quad Cities Initiatives

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Situated in the geographic center of the Quad Cities region, Western Illinois University's Quad Cities campus serves as a hub for community connection to the people, programs, and partnerships of our institution. Western's summer camps create opportunities for area youth to explore their curiosities on campus. Campus events create spaces for our on and off campus communities to engage in conversation around culture, arts, and current issues. WIU academic programs and outreach focused initiatives embrace a service ethos, and create a positive impact on learning, literacy, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Partnerships live at the center of WIU outreach, and Western Illinois University values opportunities to intersect with the diverse people, organizations, and initiatives that contribute to the high quality of life of our Quad Cities region and beyond.
