High School Dual Enrollment
WIU’s Dual Enrollment Program gives students the opportunity to complete college courses while still enrolled in high school.
Overview
Get a jump start on college credit toward a WIU degree program or to transfer to other universities. You can enroll in any WIU class as long as you meet any course requirements.
WIU offers scholarships to all dual enrollment students to bring your cost to around $341 for a 3-credit hour class.
Documents Required
- Free Online Application (wiu.edu/apply)
- Select High School Dual Enrollment as student type
- Official High School Transcript
- 3 completed semesters of coursework
- 2.75 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Dual Enrollment Permission Form
- Completed by a high school counselor or administrator
