Courses Taught:
GH 104 (Biology and Bioethics Problems, Biology 330 (Cell Biology), Biology 542 (Molecular Biology of Genes), and Biology 543 (Molecular Biology of Cells).

Research Interests:
Heat shock and other stress responses in thermoacidophilic and halophilic archaea, antimicrobial activities of tropical plants, and the genetic bases of susceptibility and resistance to antimicrobial agents in Bacillus.
