On Jan. 18 at 11:26 p.m. Cody Young, 19, of 1410 Thompson, was given a notice to appear Feb. 21 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams).
On Jan. 19 at 12:09 a.m. Anthony Muto, 36, of 507 W. Pierce St., Apt. 15, was arrested for theft of services after he allegedly refused to pay cab fare. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.
On Jan. 19 at 12:37 a.m. a University employee reported that a window in the basement area had been shattered. Damage was estimated at $100. The incident is under investigation.
On Jan. 19 at 6:40 p.m. a student reported that clothing, valued at $67, had been stolen from a bag by someone known to her. The theft is under investigation.
On Jan. 19 at 5:42 p.m. Austin Burch, 18, of 1003 Tanner, was given a notice to appear Feb. 28 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Jan. 19 at 11:35 p.m. nonstudent Jonathan Stewart, 19, of Carpentersville (IL) was arrested at East Village for obstruction of justice, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and a McDonough County warrant. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail. One student was also judicially referred for noise.
