On Jan. 20 at 4:57 p.m. a theft report is under investigation after a student allegedly took a sandwich from the Thompson Hall Dining Center without paying for the item.
On Jan. 20 at 8:52 p.m. two students in Thompson Hall were judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
On Jan. 20 10:34 p.m. one student near Q-Lot was judicially referred for behavior after he allegedly removed a bicycle from a Tanner Hall bike rack and threw the bike.
On Jan. 20 at 10:49 p.m. the Macomb Fire Department was called to Higgins Hall for a fire alarm on the ninth floor. It was determined that someone had falsely activated the alarm. There was no fire and there were no injuries.
On Jan. 20 at 10:56 p.m. Adriana Torres, 19, of 909 Lincoln Hall, was given a notice to appear Feb. 22 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams).
On Jan. 21 at 12:18 a.m. Andrew Crowley, 19, of 1512 Tanner Hall, and Connor Keough, 18, of 1504 Tanner were given a notice to appear Feb. 28 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor near the Orchard and Avery streets intersection.
On Jan. 21 at 12:50 a.m. Robert Burke, 20, of 1425 Higgins Hall, was given a notice to appear Feb. 28 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Higgins.
On Jan. 21 at 1:23 a.m. the Macomb Fire Department was called to Tanner Hall for a fire alarm on the second floor. It was determined that someone had falsely activated the alarm. There was no fire and there were no injuries.
On Jan. 21 at 5:04 p.m. a student reported that someone had stolen a vehicle key from a sealed letter in her residence hall mailbox. The theft is under investigation.
On Jan. 22 at 3:31 p.m. the Macomb Fire Department was called to Washington Hall after a light in a closet sparked and caused a small fire. The fire had been extinguished prior to the fire department's arrival. There were no injuries.
On Jan. 22 at 7:21 p.m. Javan Wilson, 19, of 1206 Tanner Hall, was given a notice to appear Feb. 28 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Another student was judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
On Jan. 22 at 7:52 p.m. a Tanner Hall housing staff member reported that hate-related graffiti had been written on a bulletin board. The incident is under investigation.
