Office of Public Safety Report - 2012-01-30 to 2012-02-01
On Jan. 30 at 9:20 p.m. a student reported to OPS that he had been struck by a vehicle while walking near campus. The student, who was treated at McDonough District Hospital for facial, hand and knee injuries, told officers he was walking near the intersection of Western Avenue and West Adams Street when he was struck by the bumper of a pick-up truck. The incident is under investigation.
On Jan. 31 at 10:59 p.m. a shattered fire alarm pull station was reported damaged on the 10th floor of Bayliss Hall. No damage estimate was available.
On Feb. 1 at 3:26 a.m. a fire alarm was activated in Tanner Hall. The Macomb Fire Department responded and burned toast was found in a kitchen oven. There was no fire and no injuries were reported.
