At 9:25 a.m. Feb. 17 a student reported a person known to her allegedly shoved her to the ground, slapped her and spit in her face. The incident is under investigation.

At 9:01 p.m. Feb. 17 Arturo Martinex, 18, of 1607 Thompson Hall, was given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor in the Thompson Hall parking lot.

At 9:09 p.m. Feb. 17 Alexander A. Cruz, 19, of 1704 Thompson Hall; Shannon N. Welker, 19, of 1741 Thompson Hall; and Bryan M. Kureja, 20, of 1719 Thompson Hall, were each given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Thompson Hall. Daniel T. Carey, 19, of 1719 Thomson Hall, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Thompson Hall and on a McDonough County Warrant (Failure to Appear). Carey was given a March 27 court date on the alcohol charge.

At 9:11 p.m. Feb. 17 nonstudent Trevor J. Lascola, 18, of Chicago; Daniel W. Livingston, 18, of 1703 Thompson Hall; Nathan A. Thomas, 19, of 1718 Thompson Hall; and Ryan A. Linwood, 19, of 1713 Thompson Hall, were each given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Thompson Hall.

At 11:12 p.m. Feb. 17 nonstudent Thomas M. Foley, 20, of Chillicothe (IL), was given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor in the 500 block of West Adams Street.

At 11:23 p.m. Feb. 17 Scott A. Gascho, 19, and Timothy J. Schwarz, 18, both of 1510 Thompson Hall, were each given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at the Charles and Murray streets intersection. Schwarz was also each given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

At 2:14 a.m. Feb. 18 nonstudent Matthew Wayne Sullivan, 20, of Bondville (IL), and nonstudent Christopher S. Graff, 20, of McHenry (IL), were each given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 700 block of West Adams Street.

At 2:38 a.m. Feb. 18 Thomas A. Gullo, 20, of 1406 Higgins Hall, was given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in the Higgins Hall parking lot.

At 4:47 a.m. Feb. 18 Taylor S. Moore, 19, of 1113 Higgins, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Higgins Hall. She was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.

At 3:17 p.m. Feb. 18 a student reported that his bicycle, valued at $130, had been stolen from the Thompson Hall bike rack. The incident is under investigation.

At 12:36 a.m. Feb. 19 William C. Russ, 19, of 1700 Thompson Hall, was given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Nathan A. Thomas, 19, of 1718 Thompson, was arrested for illegal possession of alcohol and lodged in the McDonough County Jail.

At 1 a.m. Feb. 19 a.m. an officer discovered a first floor window in Olson Hall had been broken by a piece of cinder block that had been thrown through it. A replacement estimate was not available.

At 1:41 a.m. Timothy M. Bury, 19, of 1704 Thompson Hall, was given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at Mowbray Hall.

At 2:42 a.m. Feb. 19 Todd Q. Baquet, 19, of 807 Tanner Hall, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of cannabis (2.5-10 grams) with intent to deliver at 900 North Charles Street. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.

At 3:46 a.m. Feb. 19 nonstudent David A. Jordine, 20, of Chillicothe (IL), was given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Thompson Hall. Sean P. Kelley, 20, of 814 Thompson Hall, was given a notice to appear March 27 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of drug paraphernalia in Thompson Hall.

At 8:29 p.m. Feb. 19 the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Thompson Hall. A smoke detector on the men’s side had been activated due to a burn to the face of the detector. The incident is under investigation. No smoke, no fire and no injuries were reported.
