On April 2 between 8:51-10:26 p.m. there were six reports of stolen textbooks from residents’ rooms in Tanner Hall. Nine textbooks, with a total listed value of $813, were reported stolen. Another textbook, valued at $100, was reported stolen April 3 at 9:21 p.m. in Tanner Hall. The burglaries are under investigation.
On April 2 at 12:20 p.m. a student reported being harassed via text by a person known to her. The incident is under investigation.
On April 2 at 9:24 p.m. a student reported being harassed via telephone by an unknown person. The incident is under investigation.
On April 2 at 9:52 p.m. two students in Thompson Hall received judicial referrals for suspicion of cannabis.
On April 3 at 1:03 a.m. two students received judicial referrals for tampering with a motor vehicle in Q-Lot.
On April 3 at 11:46 p.m. Kola S. Parks, 19, of 1217 Tanner Hall, was arrested on a McDonough County warrant (residential burglary in connection with the alleged thefts of textbooks.). He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail and trespassed for the WIU campus.
