On April 6 at 8:41 a.m. graffiti was found in the University Union basement level men’s bathroom. The incident is under investigation.

On April 6 at 11:50 p.m. nonstudents Kendall M. Ransom, 18, and Sydney E. Moore, both of Chicago, were each given a notice to appear May 8 on Macomb City ordinance violations for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Thompson Hall. Two students received judicial referrals for illegal possession of alcohol.
On April 7 at 1:19 a.m. a student reported that her cell phone and keys were stolen from her residence hall room. Both items were returned later that morning.
On April 7 at 2:35 a.m. Marcus J. Wages, 20, of 214 Henninger Hall, was given a notice to appear May 8 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams).
On April 7 at 3:59 a.m. a student reported that she was sexually assaulted by a person known to her in Higgins Hall. The incident is under investigation.
On April 8 at 12:49 a.m. the Macomb Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm in Tanner Hall. There was no fire or smoke and no injuries were reported.
On April 8 at 9:01 a.m. Zachary A. Rosello, 19, of 1206 Tanner Hall, was given two notices to appear May 8 on Macomb City ordinance violations: one for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams) and one for possession of drug paraphernalia.
