On April 9 at 12:23 p.m. a student reported that someone had used her University ID and made $168.23 in charges on her account. The theft is under investigation.
On April 9 at 3:50 p.m. a student reported that someone had burned a picture on her Tanner Hall room door. The incident is under investigation.
On April 9 at 6:06 p.m. Luke Schutt, 19, of 1018 Tanner Hall, was given a notice to appear May 15 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia in Thompson Hall. Three students were judicially referred for suspicion of cannabis.
On April 10 at 10:48 a.m. a student reported that a person known to her made threatening comments. The incident is under investigation.
On April 10 at 12:33 p.m. one student in Thompson Hall was judicially referred for behavior.
On April 10 at 3:29 p.m. a student reported that a laptop, valued at $1,000, had been stolen from her unlocked Grote Hall room. The theft is under investigation.
On April 10 at 7:31 p.m. the Office of Public Safety assisted the Macomb Police Department for a report of a man with weapons near campus. Macomb Police arrested nonstudent Elwood Dumke, 38, of 1130 Debbie Lane, in his vehicle near Simpkins Circle. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.
