Office of Public Safety Report - 2012-04-16 to 2012-04-18

On April 16 at 5:15 p.m. a student in Thompson Hall reported that she has been verbally harassed by a person known to her. The incident is under investigation.

On April 17 at 7:24 a.m. two roommates in Higgins Hall reported that each of their laptop computers had been stolen from their room. The burglary is under investigation. (No cost was given.)

On April 17 at 12:56 p.m. a student in the University Union reported that she has been verbally harassed by a person known to her. The incident is under investigation.

On April 17 at 11:06 p.m. three students received judicial referrals for battery (pushing) other students in the North Quad.

On April 18 at 5:48 a.m. defacement of government property was discovered at the southeast entrance to Morgan Hall, where the benches, doors, walls and glass had been spray-painted. The estimate to clean the areas was $100. The incident is under investigation.

On April 18 at 6:10 a.m. defacement of government property was discovered outside the north entrance of the University Union where the information kiosk, the sidewalk and the brick semicircle had been spray-painted. The estimate to clean the areas was $100. The incident is under investigation.

On April 18 at 6:13 a.m. defacement of government property was discovered in the commons area north of the University Union where a U.S. Post Office postal box was spray-painted. The estimate to clean the post box was $50. The incident is under investigation.
