On April 20 at 11:07 p.m. Christopher Moore, 18, of 804 Tanner Hall, was arrested in Tanner for disorderly conduct. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.
On April 20 at 11:28 p.m. a student reported that she was being harassed via computer by two individuals known to her. The incident is under investigation.
On April 21 at 12:59 a.m. Joseph Buch, 19, of 601 Tanner Hall, and Marco Gliori, 19, of 1414 Thompson Hall, were each given a notice to appear May 22 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor near the 400 block of West Pierce Street.
On April 21 at 4:01 p.m. it was reported that someone had spray painted a sandwich board in the commons area. Damage was estimated at $25. The incident is under investigation.
On April 21 between 4:27 p.m. and 5:11 p.m. multiple theft reports were received from members of Western's football team. Someone entered the football room locker room during Saturday's practice and stole numerous items. Items reported stolen include: iPod touch and headphones, $530; smartphone, headphones and iPod touch, $750; smartphone, $500; iPod touch, $450; iPhone and headphones, $340; headphones, $350; iPhone, $450; iPhone and case, $200; iPhone, $200; and iPhone and case, $400. The thefts are under investigation.
On April 21 at 5:12 p.m. a Tanner Hall housing employee reported that a 2nd floor window had been broken. A damage estimate was unavailable. The incident is under investigation.
On April 21 at 11:12 p.m. a Bayliss Hall housing employee reported that the glass was broke in a 12th floor fire extinguisher box. Damage was estimated at $40. The incident is under investigation.
On April 22 at 1:21 a.m. Drew Moss, 19, of 1608 Thompson Hall, was given a notice to appear May 22 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams) and possession paraphernalia. Another student was judicially referred for possession of cannabis.
On April 22 at 1:26 a.m. David Malloy, 26, of 1300 Higgins Hall, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in the Higgins Hall lot. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.
On April 22 at 1:53 a.m. Javier Enriquez, 19, of 1515 Tanner Hall, was given a notice to appear May 29 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Tanner.
On April 22 at 3:56 a.m. the Macomb Fire Department responded to the 11th floor of Higgins Hall after a fire alarm was activated. It was determined that someone had pulled the alarm and there was no fire/smoke.
On April 22 at 4:29 a.m. OPS was called to the 10th floor of Tanner Hall for a report of a fight in progress. Two individuals stated as they were leaving the 10th floor, an unknown male subject struck both individuals and a fight ensued. The report remains under investigation.
On April 22 at 5:59 a.m. a student reported that someone had carved derogatory graffiti his Tanner Hall door, causing $620 in damages. The incident is under investigation.
On April 22 at 5:43 a.m. it was reported that the north quad bus gate had been broken, causing $340 in damages. The incident is under investigation.
On April 22 at 6:53 p.m. a student reported that the driver's side mirror was broken off his vehicle while parked in the Lincoln-Washington halls lot. The incident is under investigation.
On April 23 at 4:17 a.m. the Macomb Fire Department responded to the 14th floor of Tanner Hall after a fire alarm was activated. It was determined that someone had pulled the alarm and there was no fire/smoke.
