Office of Public Safety Report - 2012-04-23 to 2012-04-25
On April 23 at 2:16 p.m. a student reported that he was struck in the face by a person unknown to him at the Student Recreation Center. The incident is under investigation.
On April 24 at 2:53 a.m. the Macomb Fire Department responded to an activated fire alarm pull station on the 14th floor of Tanner Hall. There was no smoke, no fire and no injuries reported.
On April 24 at 5:27 p.m. Derrick Bradshaw, 19, of 907 Tanner Hall, was arrested for battery and for criminal damage to government property. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.
On April 24 at 6:51 p.m. a student reported being via computer by a person known to her. The incident is under investigation.
On April 25 at 4:30 a.m. the Macomb Fire Department (MFD) responded to multiple alarms showing water flow on the 14th floor of Tanner Hall. An OPS officer found the water pipe valve was open and closed it before the MFD arrived. There was no smoke, no fire, no interior water damage and no reported injuries.
On April 25 at 5:24 a.m. nonstudent Ian L. Lewis, 20, of Leroy (IL), was arrested in the Mowbray Hall lobby for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and for disorderly conduct. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.
