Office of Public Safety Report - 2012-04-27 to 2012-04-30
On April 27 at 2:32 p.m. a student reported that her iPod, valued at $150, was stolen from a cubby at the Spencer Student Recreation Center. The theft is under investigation.
On April 27 at 10:09 p.m. two students reported that their textbooks, valued at $200 and $260, respectively, were stolen from their unlocked Thompson Hall room. The theft is under investigation.
On April 27 at 10:25 p.m. Adam Bettenhausen, 19, of 1016 Lincoln Hall, was given a notice to appear May 29 on a Macomb city ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Lincoln. Two students were judicially referred for suspicion of cannabis.
On April 28 1:37 a.m. a student reported that a laptop, valued at $1,000, was stolen from his unlocked Higgins Hall room. The theft is under investigation.
On April 28 at 3:17 p.m. a student reported that the mirrors were broken on her vehicle in L-Lot. Damage was estimated at $80.
On April 28 at 9:28 p.m. Josie Padilla, 21, 1203 Bayliss Hall, was given a notice to appear June 5 on a Macomb city ordinance violation for delivery of alcohol to a minor near the Orchard and Charles streets intersection. Nonstudent Edith Rivera, 20, Aurora, was given a notice to appear June 5 on a Macomb city ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
On April 28 at 11:18 p.m. nonstudents Tyler Baumann, 18, of Moline, and Ryan Ramon, 19, of Moline, were each given a notice to appear May 22 on a Macomb city ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in L-Lot.
On April 28 at 11:42 p.m. Jewell Jones, 25, of 1011 Washington Hall, was given a notice to appear May 29 on a Macomb city ordinance violation for possession of drug paraphernalia in Washington.
On April 29 at 2:58 a.m. Jeremy Schneider, 20, 1217 Bayliss Hall, was arrested for criminal damage to property (under $300) and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor after he allegedly threw furniture in the 12th floor Bayliss Hall lounge. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.
