Office of Public Safety Report - 2012-08-10 to 2012-08-13
On Aug. 10 at 7:39 a.m. a University employee reported that graffiti had been scratched on a wall in the Higgins Hall men's first floor restroom. The incident is under investigation.
On Aug. 10 at 10:58 a.m. the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at the University Union. A small fire had started in the exterior mechanical room on the roof, causing smoke to enter the building through the ventilation system. Contractors working in the Union roof extinguished the fire prior to the fire department's arrival. There was no damage to the building and no reported injuries.
