• On Aug. 22 at 8:23 p.m. a student reported that a laptop computer, valued at $1,500, was taken from her unlocked Tanner Hall room. The incident is under investigation.

• On Aug. 23 at 7:10 p.m. non-student Dylan Schneider, 19, of Bourbonnais, was issued a notice to appear in court Sept. 25 on Macomb city ordinance violations for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia in Higgins Hall. Two students were issued judicial referrals for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Aug. 24 at 1:23 a.m. two students in the 400 block of West Murray Street were issued judicial referrals for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
