On August 30 at 2:18 a.m. a student was judicially referred for behavior for taking a bicycle, which had been setting outside near Sherman and Garwood halls, that did not belong to him.
On August 30 at 12 p.m. a student reported that his book bag, containing a graphic calculator, an iClicker, a textbook and a pair of pants, was stolen on August 29 sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. near the University Union Grand Ballroom. Value of the stolen items is estimated to be $325. The theft is under investigation.
On August 30 at 4:40 p.m. Thomas M. Collum, 19, of 625 Corbin Hall, was given a notice to appear Oct. 2 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Q-Lot.
On August 30 at 4:55 p.m. Dominick F. Calendo, 19, of 1705 Higgins Hall, and Matthew J. Volkening, 19, of 614 Olson Hall, were each given a notice to appear Oct. 2 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Q-Lot.
On August 30 at 5:35 p.m. non-student Bethany L. Keane, 20, of Macomb, was given a notice to appear Oct. 2 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Q-Lot.
On August 30 at 5:53 p.m. Alexandra N. Szymanski, 20, of Channahon, IL, was given a notice to appear Oct. 2 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Q-Lot.
On August 30 at 8:24 p.m. a female student reported during the early morning hours on August 17 she was sexually assaulted in a residence hall room by a person she had met earlier that evening. The incident is under investigation.
On August 31 at 2:10 a.m. an employee of a local taxi company reported a student did not pay the $5 fare. The theft is under investigation.
