Office of Public Safety Report - 2012-10-03 to 2012-10-05
On Oct. 3 at 5:20 p.m. a student reported criminal damage to her vehicle while it was parked in Q-Lot sometime between 5 p.m. Oct. 1 and 4 p.m. Oct. 3. The damage to the driver's side rear window, which appeared to be caused by a beebee, was estimated at $150. The incident is under investigation.
On Oct. 4 at 12:46 p.m. OPS and the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm near the south office on the first floor between Bayliss and Henninger halls. Smoke, from a can containing cigarette butts located outside the building, had come in through an open window causing the alarm. No fire was found and no injuries were reported.
On Oct. 4 at 7:34 p.m. a student received a judicial referral in Henninger Hall for suspicion of cannabis.
On Oct. 4 at 9:15 p.m. a student reported her iPod (valued at $200) was stolen from her Higgins Hall room sometime after Sept. 22. The incident is under investigation.
On Oct. 4 at 10:40 p.m. non-student Isaac R. Bunch, 20, of Rock Island, was issued a notice to appear Nov. 13 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Two students were judicially referred for drugs behind Lincoln and Washington halls.
