Office of Public Safety Report - 2012-10-15 to 2012-10-17

On Oct. 15 at 10:55 a.m. a student reported the theft of his Xbox 360 video game console, two game controllers and 10 video games from his unlocked residence hall room in Bayliss Hall. Value of the stolen items is estimated at $300. The incident is under investigation.

On Oct. 16 at 10:30 a.m. Titus C. Perez, 20, of 531 Corbin Hall, was arrested in Corbin Hall on an active McDonough County warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.

On Oct. 16 at 12:45 p.m. an employee reported criminal damage to a first-floor Tanner Hall window. The damage, estimated to be $700, appeared to be the result of a shot from a bb gun. The incident is under investigation.

On Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. a student reported the theft of a black charcoal grill, valued at $20, from the front of her East Village apartment. The incident is under investigation.
