Office of Public Safety Report - 2012-11-05 to 2012-11-07

On Nov. 5 at 7:10 a.m. a student in Corbin Hall reported that several pills of a prescription medication, valued at $70, were missing from a locked area of her room. The theft is under investigation.

On Nov. 5 at 10:56 a.m., OPS officers and the Macomb Fire Department responded to an alarm in the basement of Lincoln Hall. The alarm was set off accidentally and no smoke, fire or injuries were reported.

On Nov. 6 at 12:10 p.m. OPS officers responded to a fire alarm in Washington Hall. The alarm was set off by workers in the area and the Macomb Fire Department did not respond. There was no fire found and no injuries were reported.

On Nov. 6 at 5:09 p.m. OPS officers and the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in the Corbin/Olson dining area. The alarm was caused by smoke from a grill. No injuries were reported.

On Nov. 6 at 5:42 p.m. OPS officers and the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in the Corbin/Olson dining area. The alarm was caused by grease on a grill. No injuries were reported.

On Nov. 6 at 6:06 p.m., Guy Exstavion, 21, of 1020 W. Calhoun St., was arrested for theft and possession of stolen property (a laptop computer reported stolen in May). Exstavion was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.

On Nov. 6 at 11:20 p.m. six students in the Henninger Hall lot were issued judicial referrals for cannabis.
