Office of Public Safety Report - 2012-11-14 to 2012-11-16
On Nov. 14 at 2:01 p.m. a contractor reported that a drill, valued at $500, was stolen from a construction site near Q-Lot. It was later recovered.
On Nov. 14 at 8:33 p.m. a student reported that a set of headphones (value not provided) had been stolen from his Tanner Hall room. The theft is under investigation.
On Nov. 14 at 11:28 p.m. Samantha Carroll, 22, of 914 Lincoln Hall, was arrested in Lincoln for criminal damage to property less than $300. Carroll was transported to the McDonough County Jail where she was lodged at 12:47 a.m. pending bond.
On Nov. 15 at 9:46 a.m. Rodney Orange, 24, of 337 W. Adams St. Apt. F, was arrested in Mowbray Hall for use of a credit card as security for debt and theft over $500. Orange was transported to the McDonough County Jail where he was lodged at 10:49 a.m. pending bond.
On Nov. 15 at 11:13 a.m. a student reported that his wallet, containing a WIU ID, credit cards and $180 cash, was stolen from his Higgins Hall room. The theft is under investigation.
On Nov. 15 at 11:22 p.m. two students in Higgins Hall were judicially referred for possession of cannabis.
On Nov. 15 at 11:39 p.m. Jacob Pikowski, 19, of 1008 Tanner Hall, was arrested in Tanner Hall on a McDonough County warrant for battery. Pikowski was transported to the McDonough County Jail where he was lodged at 12:13 a.m. pending bond.
On Nov. 16 at 1:25 a.m. Marco Gliori, 19, of 815 Lincoln Hall, was arrested near the north quad for battery and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Gliori was transported to the McDonough County Jail where he was lodged at 2:18 a.m. pending bond.
