Office of Public Safety Report - 2012-11-16 to 2012-11-19

On Nov. 16 at 11 a.m. a student reported that his vehicle was damaged while parked in Q-Lot. Damage was estimated between $500-1,500. The incident is under investigation.

On Nov. 16 at 12:20 p.m. a student in Higgins Hall reported the theft of his iPod Nano, valued at $50, from his residence hall room. The theft is under investigation.

On Nov. 16 at 12:50 p.m. a student in Higgins Hall reported the theft of his iPhone, valued at $400, and his iPod Touch, valued at $200, from his residence hall room. The theft is under investigation.

On Nov. 16 at 1:30 p.m. a student in Higgins Hall reported the theft of his wallet from his residence hall room. The estimated value of the stolen items was placed at $410. The theft is under investigation.

On Nov. 16 at 4:41 p.m. Steve I. Adleman, 55, of 806 E. Oak St., Macomb, was arrested for failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle in the north Seal Hall parking lot. Adleman was transported to McDonough County Jail where he was lodged at 6:03 p.m. pending bond.

On Nov. 16 at 6:06 p.m. OPS officers and the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in Tanner Hall (first floor, janitorial supply room). The alarm was set off by workers in the area, and no smoke, fire or injuries were reported.

On Nov. 18 at 9:01 p.m. a student reported to OPS that she was a victim of domestic battery on campus Nov. 16. The incident is under investigation.
