On Nov. 30 at 11:05 a.m. John Scott, 18, of 1438 Higgins Hall, was issued a notice to appear Jan. 15 on a Macomb city ordinance violation for possession of cannabis in Higgins.

On Nov. 30 at 1:02 p.m. a student reported that his skateboard, valued at $150, was stolen from his Tanner Hall room by a person known to him and sold to a local pawn shop. The skateboard was later recovered.

On Nov. 30 at 4:21 p.m. Timber Black, 19, of 1507 Higgins Hall, was arrested in Higgins on a McDonough County warrant for retail theft. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 4:42 p.m. where he was lodged pending bond.

On Nov. 30 at 4:21 p.m. Christopher Shaw, 19, of 1506 Higgins Hall, was arrested in Higgins on a McDonough County warrant for retail theft. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 4:49 p.m. where he was lodged pending bond.

On Nov. 30 at 5:30 p.m. a student reported that his unlocked bicycle, valued at $75, was stolen from the Malpass Library bike rack. The incident is under investigation.

On Nov. 30 at 8:32 p.m. two students near the North Charles Street bus gate were judicially referred for possession of cannabis.

On Nov. 30 at 8:54 p.m. Charles Jones, 20, of 1408 Lincoln Hall, was issued a notice to appear Jan. 8 on a Macomb city ordinance violation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Monique Durant, 22, of 1535 W. Jackson St., Apt. 1, was arrested on a Schuyler County warrant for failure to appear on traffic charges. Durant was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 9:56 p.m. where she was lodged pending bond.

On Nov. 30 at 9:40 p.m. two students in Tanner Hall were judicially referred for possession of cannabis.

On Nov. 30 at 10:30 p.m. Joseph Calvaresi, 21, of 331 Corbin Hall, was issued a notice to appear Jan. 8 on a Macomb city ordinance violation for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Nov. 30 at 11:30 p.m. a student in Tanner Hall reported that his wallet and debit card was stolen from his unlocked room room. Charges of approximately $20 were made at local gas station. The incident is under investigation.

On Dec. 1 at 12:53 a.m. one student near Charles and Orchard streets was judicially referred for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.

On Dec. 1 at 3:51 p.m. a student in the University Union was judicially referred for behavior/disorderly conduct.

On Dec. 2 at 12:43 a.m. the Macomb Fire Department was called to Washington Hall for a fire alarm after a stove in the kitchen area caught fire while in use. Another resident used a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire. There were no reported injuries.

On Dec. 2 at 1:36 a.m. two students near Charles and Adams streets were judicially referred for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.

On Dec. 2 at 1:48 a.m. two students reported that while walking through L-Lot with friends they were battered by a male unknown to them. The incident is under in investigation.

On Dec. 2 at 2:17 a.m. Rashad Moore, 19, of 1232 Higgins Hall, was arrested in the Higgins Hall Lot for criminal trespass to a vehicle. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 2:30 a.m. where he was lodged pending bond.

On Dec. 2 at 3:31 a.m. John Gutierrez, 19, of 816 Tanner Hall, was issued a notice to appear Jan. 15 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of cannabis in Q-Lot. A student was judicially referred for possession of cannabis.

On Dec. 2 at 2:41 p.m. a student reported that her residence hall room keys had been stolen from the Lincoln Hall laundry room. Another student was issued a judicial referral for behavior in regard to the theft report. The keys were later recovered.

On Dec. 2 at 12:52 p.m. Jasmine Meekins, 19, of 500 Higgins Hall, and nonstudent Marshalla Kelly, 19, of Chicago, were each issued a notice to appear Dec. 20 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of cannabis in Higgins. Jaylyn Rounsaville, 18, of 1134 Higgins Hall, was issued a notice to appear Jan. 15 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
